​​Gorse Hill YouthBank Grants – Funding Youth-Led Community Action

​

Empowering Local People to Create Change

​

Gorse Hill YouthBank is a new community grant-making initiative designed to support projects that improve the lives of young people in Gorse Hill. Over the past three months, a dedicated group of local young people have worked together to design, develop, and launch this project funded by the Greater Manchester Violence Reduction Unit, ensuring that the power to create change is in the hands of the community.

APPLICATION FORM

Who Can Apply?

Anyone with a project that benefits young people in Gorse Hill can apply for funding.

You can apply as:

  • An individual

  • A group 

  • A community group, youth club, or school

Grants Available: Up to £500 for individual and £1000 for group projects

​

What Can You Apply For?

We are funding projects that:

Tackle littering and graffiti – Clean up and protect local spaces
Improve young people’s wellbeing – Mental health support, safe spaces, activities
Create positive social action – Bring young people together for change

DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS IS THE 12TH MARCH 2025​

Youth-Led Decision Making

Our panel of youth grant-makers will review applications, decide which projects will get to the interview stage and then vote on whether the grant will be awarded or not.
