Winter Culture Club Sessions 10:00-12:30 for 12-16 year olds
Service Description
Join our Winter Culture Club Cooking Session for 12-16 year olds 10:00-12:30. Young people who attend will be able to: *Learn how to cook and prepare a tasty nutritious meals in our kitchen alongside youth workers and other young people. *Gain new life skills for more independence at home. * Enjoy their meals afterwards and socialise with friends. *Gain understanding of kitchen health and safety as well as hygiene. *Cook for the younger attendees of Culture Club, this can be put on their CV's or be used as volunteer hours for Duke of Edinburgh. Young people of different abilities are welcome, please detail whether you/ young person has any Special Educational Needs or Disabilities so we can plan how best to support them in the sessions. We are unable to support personal care needs. Young people who attend our sessions will be able to: *Eat a tasty breakfast. *Enjoy a creative/active session (for example music, painting, collage) in the morning and another session in the afternoon (for example fashion design, dance). *Eat a tasty lunch provided by us with hot and cold healthy options. People with different abilities are welcome, we are disability inclusive in our sessions and able to support with most access needs but not personal care needs, please detail any Special Educational Needs or Disabilities in the booking form. Sessions for young people eligible for free school meals only.
