Gorse Hill Studios is a charitable community resource dedicated to improving the local community and the lives of young people. We deliver our own direct services and projects, as well as enabling the local community to develop and deliver their own projects and activities. We create a safe, welcoming space for learning and opportunity, whilst also improving the health and wellbeing of our community.

We are both accessible and affordable as a community hub, offering rooms and spaces for hire. We are a facilitator continually working with partners to ensure Gorse Hill Studios is a useful venue to the whole community. Strengthening community cohesion, Gorse Hill brings diverse communities together, taking focus on positively impacting the lives of young people.

Gorse Hill Studios is an independently-run charity, established in 2015 and gaining charitable status in 2017 after previously being part of Trafford MBC for 16 years. We deliver services from a thriving youth arts centre based in the North of Trafford as well as outreach settings with specific contracts with key Local Authorities, Schools and Commissioning Groups, as well as working in partnership with several youth organisations.

Gorse Hill Studios continues to offer a wide range of activities and services, which meet the needs of the whole community, whilst specialising in the support of young people. Over the last twelve months we have continued to deliver a range of innovative creative programmes, including a cultural scoping project, targeted locality youth provision, young creatives group, visual arts, videography, life skills, support around healthy relationships and personal development programmes.

We continue to specialise in the support and delivery of programmes for young people with learning difficulties and disabilities.

Gorse Hill Studio’s consists of a friendly, professional and passionate team. We are a creative bunch, working together to continually reflect and build on the services we offer, to strengthen, improve and create innovative ways of supporting young people.
